Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3, (スーパーマリオランド3 ワリオランド) (also simply Wario Land) is the third entry of the Mario Land sub-series of the Mario video games, although Mario has very little to do with the game himself. This game marked the debut of Wario as a playable character, after his previous appearance in Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins as a villain. The main story of the game consists of Wario going after Captain Syrup and her Brown Sugar Pirates, while trying to collect as much money as possible, in order to buy a massive castle to make Mario jealous.

Moves

Wario's side special move in Super Smash Flash 2, Shoulder Bash, is based on his main attack in this game. While the attack itself originates from Wario's Woods, its use in SSF2 is mainly inspired from its use in Wario Land, in which Wario charges forward to attack enemies with his shoulder.
