Triforce Slash (トライフォースラッシュ) is Link's Final Smash in Super Smash Flash 2.

Overview

When performed, Link uses the power of the Triforce to trap opponents in front of him with a ray of light that extends straight forward. Opponents hit with the ray are paralyzed, with the opponent closest to Link trapped between three images of the Triforce for the entire duration of the move. Link then dashes very quickly towards any opponent paralyzed by the beam and strikes them repeatedly with the Master Sword, dealing 4% damage and no knockback with each hit for a total of 52%. The player can increase the speed of these strikes by pressing an attack input as they are being executed. He then backs up and finishes with a stab forward that shatters the Triforce images and launches any opponent that makes contact, dealing 23% damage and very strong knockback. If all hits connect, the move deals a total of 79% damage.

Origin

This move was created in the Super Smash Bros., but the last hit of the Final Smash resembles Link's final blow to Ganon during the final battle in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Years after its introduction in Brawl, a similar move appears in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild as one of Link's abilities through dodging with perfect timing, allowing him to perform the Flurry Rush attack.
