Tony Tony Chopper (トニートニー・チョッパー), also known simply as Chopper, is one of the Straw Hat Pirates members and main protagonists of the One Piece franchise.
Character description
Tony Tony Chopper is the Straw Hat Pirates' doctor and he aspires to be one that can cure any disease. He is a reindeer who has eaten the Human-Human Devil Fruit, which gives him the ability to transform into a human reindeer hybrid or human at will, along with human intelligence. Before eating the Devil Fruit, Chopper was a young reindeer born with a blue nose which caused his herd members, even his parents, to despise him. When he ate the Fruit at a young age and gained its powers, he was able to realize his herd's disgust for him and then left on his own. After attempting to speak with the humans on Drum Island, he was shot at after being mistaken for a Yeti but rescued by Dr. Hiriluk, who would become Chopper's role model and mentor.
Chopper is mostly seen as a lean toddler-sized reindeer, but his Devil Fruit abilities allow him to manipulate his appearance based on his current situation. He is also depicted as a naive and extremely timid character, also known for being somewhat childish and usually runs from a fight unless he has support from others. Chopper sees members of his crew as role models, even to the point of imitating them sometimes. Chopper has a metal brace on his left antler, which was reattached after an injury from his old herd's leader. He is usually seen wearing a large reddish-pink top hat with a medical cross turned sideways given to him by Hiriluk and a maroon pair of shorts. He is sometimes seen wearing a blue backpack with the same cross as his hat. Chopper also wears a white and yellow striped t-shirt.

In Super Smash Flash 2, Tony Tony Chopper appears as one of the numerous background characters on Thousand Sunny, alongside Roronoa Zoro, Nami, Sanji, Franky, Nico Robin, Usopp, and Brook. He appears on the right side of the stage and simply stands idle, occasionally striking a pose. When a KO is scored, Chopper momentarily uses Heavy Point and flexes before returning to normal.
