When performed, Pit equips the Three Sacred Treasures consisting of the Arrow of Light, Mirror Shield, and Wings of Pegasus while saying, "Equipped!". He then says, "Three Sacred Treasures!" as he fires a series of powerful arrows, which come in several forms, the order of which is selected randomly. These include shooting five red arrows spread in an arch in front of him, which each deal 5% damage and weak upwards knockback; shooting three red arrows directly forward, which each deal 5% slash damage and weak upward knockback; shooting a large yellow arrow that travels straight toward opponents and travels through them, which deals 15% slash damage and strong knockback; and shooting five green energy blasts that home onto opponents, which each deal 5% slash damage and weak knockback. After shooting eight series of arrows, Pit says, "Bye now!" and fires six arrows into the air, causing six massive blue pillars of light to appear across the stage, with each dealing 20% slash damage and strong knockback to opponents hit. After the final pillar disappears, the Three Sacred Treasures disappear, ending the move.
The Three Sacred Treasures are legendary items in the Kid Icarus series that are said to be the strongest weapons within Angel Land. In each game, they reside in Sacred Caskets that are either hidden or stolen and must be retrieved by defeating the bosses guarding them. When combined, they form a set of armor that allows Pit to possess their strengths: the Arrows of Light pierce through any enemies in their way, the Mirror Shield passively protects Pit from projectiles and Medusa's petrifying glance, and the Wings of Pegasus grant Pit unlimited flight.
Whether it is a new image or simply a higher quality update, upload the new file and add it into the section. Remember to always upload an updated file under the same name as the older version to supersede it.
When using Pit's eleventh costume, the Three Sacred Treasures become silver. This may be a reference to the Silver Armor, one of the Three Sacred Treasures in Kid Icarus: Of Myths and Monsters, or it may be to match the color palette of the Silver Bow, Dark Pit's weapon in the official Super Smash Bros. games.
Prior to its playable implementation, the sprites for this Final Smash were shown in the DEATH BATTLE! episode "Sora VS Pit", which featured sprites of Pit from SSF2 provided by McLeodGaming.
