Usage

To use this template, place the code above at the top of an article and fill in the respective blanks. All fields other than name and game are optional. This template should only be used in articles about characters' appearances in games, like Mario (Super Smash Flash), Mega Man X (Super Smash Flash), Isaac (Super Smash Flash 2), Black Mage (Super Smash Flash 2), etc., not on the articles that give general information about them. There is another template for that.

Where:

  • name should be filled with the name of the fighter.
  • image should be filled with image depicting the fighter, particularly a sprite or a pixel art.
  • symbol should be filled with the respective series symbol using the symbol template only, unless a visualization of the symbol is required.
  • caption should be filled with a description of the image spot.
  • universe should be filled with the universe the fighter originates from.
  • stock should be filled with the characters stock ("head") icon.
  • alternate should be filled with the name of the alternate character the fighter is able to change into.
  • switch should be filled with the name of the other fighter that can take the place of the current fighter.
  • availability should be filled with the availaiblity status rquired to play as the character. The status are: starter and unlockable. In case a new character was showcased but no word about his/her availiability was revealed, indeterminate should be temporarily placed.
  • unlock should be filled only if unlockable was selected in the availability spot; in that case, it should include the method(s) required to make the character available.
  • weight should be filled with the current weight classification of the character. The classes are: light, medium-light, medium, medium-heavy and heavy.
  • final should be filled with the name of the character's Final Smash.
  • tier should be filled with the name of the tier the character is currently soarted in the most recent revision of the tier list.
  • ranking should be filled with the number the character is currently sorted inside his/her tier position in the most recent revision of the tier list.
