Tails, along Sonic and Knuckles, is a starter character in Super Smash Flash. His moveset is based on several games in which Tails is the main protagonist in.

Tails is ranked at 2nd on the tier list due to his strong recovery, vast array of projectiles and excellent finishers. His projectiles have infinite range, making him good at stage control and he can fire them up or down. He also has incredible survivability due to his multijumps. Despite this, he can be KO'd quickly due to horizontal speed. Regardless, his pros hugely overlook his cons and this puts him in the top tier.
