Glide stalling

Meta Knight using gliding to stall under the stage of Battlefield in Super Smash Flash 2.

Stalling in the Super Smash Flash series is defined as any action in which the player deliberately avoids any fighting confrontations to make the game unplayable, such as, but not limited to, excessive ledge camping and running around the stage evasively. Stalling is usually done in order to waste time in timed matches or timed stock matches after gaining an advantage, and if done properly, it may lead to a timeout win by the player stalling.

Stalling is usually frowned upon in the community in general, as it is deemed neither exciting to watch nor fun to play against. The current tournament ruleset for Super Smash Flash 2 bans the act of stalling, as it will result in the forfeiture of the current game being played.
