Snowpoint Temple is a starter stage in Super Smash Flash 2 that hails from the Pokémon series.
Layout[]
Snowpoint Temple mainly consists of a large main platform in which the middle and edges are straight, and there are snow-covered sections between them that slope diagonally downward. There is a large soft platform above the gate in the center of the stage that slopes diagonally upward to the right, and there is another straight soft platform above the left edge.
The time of day this stage takes place in is random, with there being a 50% chance to take place during the day and a 50% chance to take place during the night. Several Pokémon also appear in the background of the stage, including a Glaceon sitting in the snow on the left side, a Mamoswine resting in a cave to the right, and a Froslass flying back and forth behind the temple.
Music[]
- The main music track is Snowpoint Temple Medley, a medley of multiple tracks from Pokémon Diamond and Pearl.
- One of the alternate music tracks is Sinnoh Legends Medley, a medley of several tracks from Pokémon Legends: Arceus.
- The other alternate music track is Snowbelle City, a calm remix of the theme that plays in Snowbelle City in Pokémon X and Y.

Origin[]

Snowpoint Temple in Pokémon Legends: Arceus.
Snowpoint Temple is a location that first appeared in Pokémon Diamond and Pearl as a temple in Snowpoint City. In these games, it can be accessed after entering the Hall of Fame and obtaining the National Pokédex, and it consists of multiple floors with puzzles based on sliding across ice. It is most notably the home to the Legendary Pokémon Regigigas, who awakens from what appears to be a statue after the player gathers the three Legendary Giants: Regirock, Regice, and Registeel.
The design of Snowpoint Temple in SSF2 most closely resembles its appearance in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. The different times of day on the stage may be based on the day-night system of Pokémon Diamond and Pearl.
