Rukia Kuchiki (朽木 ルキア) is a co-protagonist in Bleach. She is a Shinigami and the captain of the 13th Division. She appears as an Assist Trophy in Super Smash Flash 2.

Character description

Short and petite, Rukia has light skin and purple eyes. Her hair is black, with several strands of hair always hanging between her eyes. As a Shinigami of the Gotei 13, Rukia wears a standard shihakushō. She wears a fingerless white tekkō, similar to Byakuya's, which extend above her elbows. She is graceful and "clean", yet modest. However, her cool and lone demeanor often forces her to hide her personal troubles, even from her friends. Rukia never opens up her heart, and has difficulty making friends.

In Super Smash Flash 2

Rarity Common

Rukia appears as an Assist Trophy in Super Smash Flash 2. She uses her signature technique, Some no mai, Tsukishiro, an attack in which Rukia slashes forward, damaging and freezing anyone in her path. She waits a couple seconds before attacking if there's an enemy on stage but they are not in front of her.

From demos v0.7 to v0.9a, Rukia appeared on Ichigo's on-screen appearance.

  • In earlier versions of Super Smash Flash 2, Rukia appeared during Ichigo's on-screen appearance. She would use her soul-removing glove to push Ichigo's Soul Reaper form out of his body, cross her arms in an angrily fashion while sighing afterward, then take Ichigo’s body and disappear.
  • Rukia was added in SSF2 Beta 1.0 to replace Renji Abarai, due to the multiple bugs involving him. This was also because Rukia was more popular and had a larger importance in Bleach.[1]
