The Rayman (レイマン) universe refers to the Super Smash Flash series' collection of characters and properties that hail from Ubisoft's series of platformer video games featuring the limbless hero Rayman. It is one of the company's most popular franchises and one of the most recent franchises to be represented in the Super Smash Flash series. Its series symbol is a Lum, a shiny bug-like creature from the series that holds magical energy.

Character

  • Rayman: Rayman is the magical limbless being who resides in and protects the fantastical world known as the Glade of Dreams. Making use of his limbless nature and magical powers, Rayman's moveset consists mainly of far-reaching physical attacks, along with several powers he acquires.

Trivia

  • The Rayman universe is the only one to have had three different series symbols throughout SSF2's development cycle, with the first being Rayman's limbless shirt torso and the second the O-shaped crest on it.
    • The first symbol is the only series symbol in SSF2 to not be publicly shown in the game, as it was only visible in the teaser video revealing Rayman at Super Smash Con 2018.
