Plum is Rayman's down special move in Super Smash Flash 2.
Overview
When performed, Rayman pulls out a large purple plum that can be stood on as a platform and puts it directly beneath him. The plum bounces on platforms and attacks will cause it to be knocked in the attack's direction. Opponents hit by the plum are dealt damage and knockback. The plum will disappear after a certain period of time or reaching a blast line. Only one plum can be out at once, as Rayman will simply shrug if the player tries to create another one.
Origin
Plums are large fruits that commonly appear in the Rayman series, starting with its debut title. They grow off of plants and can be knocked off to be used in several ways. Like in SSF2, they bounce on the ground and can be moved if Rayman punches or throws them. They can stick to posts and certain enemies' heads, float in water, and even resist most lava, making them effective makeshift platforms.
