Peach Blossom (ピーチブラッサム) is Peach's Final Smash in Super Smash Flash 2.
Overview
When performed, a spotlight shines down on Peach and a frame in the shape of a heart appears in the foreground with a picture of Peach on each side. Peach then performs a dance in place, which causes three large peaches acting as food to appear next to her, with each peach healing 20% damage. The grounded opponents will receive 30% damage and fall asleep, while aerial opponents get stunned and fall, tumbling. This gives Peach a chance to KO grounded opponents with a strong attack, as well as making the move a reliable off-stage KO tool.
Origin
Peach Blossom is a move unique to the Super Smash Bros. series. However, Peach has shown the ability to put enemies to sleep in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars using her "Sleepy Time" ability.
The melody of the Final Smash is a sped-up version of the music heard in The Sky and Coin Heaven levels and in the Warp Zone (World 9) of Super Mario Bros. 3.
Trivia
- The color of the frame and the pictures of Peach on each side match the color scheme of whatever costume Peach is using, as well as her metal appearance.
- Prior to Beta, Peach's Final Smash was instead Peach Beam. It was changed to Peach Blossom with the introduction of her updated design.
