Niko is the protagonist of the puzzle-based adventure game OneShot. They appear as an Assist character in Fraymakers.

Character description[]

Niko is a child who lives in a small village with their mother. They wear a coat, hat, and long blue scarf and possess various cat-like traits, particularly their eyes and ears. Upon waking up in the world of OneShot, they are informed that they are the "Savior" who must guide the Sun, a large light bulb providing energy, to the Tower to restore light to the world and save it from dying. They act under the guidance of the player, the "God" of the world who can only directly communicate with Niko and controls their fate through the game window.

Niko traverses the world and solves environmental puzzles using the various objects they find throughout the world, including the Sun itself, which can act as both a battery and a source of light. Despite being brought into the dying world against their will and often being homesick, Niko remains kind and optimistic throughout their journey, feeling determined to return the Sun to the Tower.

Niko is one of the Assist characters in Fraymakers, and they are one of the twenty Assists available at the launch of its Early Access release. They were revealed for the game in a trailer that premiered on June 4, 2022. When called upon, they use the Sun to create a large, circular field of light that remains active for about ten seconds. While the summoner or their teammates are inside this field, they are given a bright yellow tint with sparkles, and the damage and knockback of their attacks are dramatically increased. If set up properly, this can allow the player to more easily access KO setups.

It takes 90 damage to fully charge Niko.
