Ledge attacks, also known as ledge recovery attacks, are moves that characters can use when hanging from a ledge. Besides Sandbag, who cannot grab ledges, every character possesses a ledge recovery attack, which often grants invincibility frames. Ledge attacks can be used to clear the ledge of edgeguarders, and assure a safe recovery.

Prior to Beta 1.0, some characters would perform a different move if the player attempted to do a ledge attack while their damage is above 100%. Those attacks were called 100% ledge attacks, and in general, were slower and stronger than normal ledge attacks. Below is a list of them.
