Lady Luck is the main antagonist and final boss of the rougelike deck-building game Dicey Dungeons. She appears as an Assist character in Fraymakers.
Character description[]
Lady Luck is a tall woman with an eye always hidden behind her curly red hair. She is the host of Dicey Dungeons, a game show in which contestants are turned into giant dice that must fight through a dungeon of monsters for the chance of Lady Luck granting any wish they desire. The game show is based on luck, with contestants having to roll dice to determine their attacks and spin a giant wheel to determine whether they win the contest and can leave the dungeons. However, the wheel is rigged to always land on a losing space, and no contestants have won in the hundreds of years that she has been host.
Lady Luck has been described by herself and contestants as being heartless and cruel, mocking contestants and even her own minions as her eternal prisoners. To escape her game show, it takes the combined efforts of every contestant and her minions to defeat her backstage. After doing so, however, she becomes much nicer and joyous to the fact that someone has finally won the game, even choosing to release the contestants, though they remain dice and still do not win any prizes.
In Fraymakers[]
Lady Luck is one of the Assist characters in Fraymakers, and she was made available in v0.7.3 of Early Access on October 26, 2024. When called upon, she rolls one of six dice forward, each of which is colored after a playable character in Dicey Dungeons, that bounces along the ground. Upon making contact with an opponent, the dice becomes and becomes said character and uses their respective effect, and Lady Luck laughs before disappearing.
When thrown, the dice bounces lower each time it lands on a platform of the same elevation as the previous bounce, whereas landing on lower elevations may cause it to gain additional height. Bouncing against a wall causes it to change direction. The dice will disappear along with Lady Luck if it stops bouncing before hitting an opponent.
List of dice[]
In addition to having a unique effect, each dice is indicated by a unique Assist meter icon and cut-in. The order in which she rolls each dice is random, though each one will appear one time for every six dice rolled. The following dice appear:

Trivia[]

Lady Luck's unused appearance in Fraymakers.
- For Lady Luck's function in Fraymakers, it was initially planned for her roll to all six dice at once. The dice would have been smaller, appearing as regular dice colored after the characters they represent, with each inflicting a unique status effect. This was changed for unknown reasons.
- Likewise, Lady Luck's initial render did not show her rolling a dice.
