Kragg is a playable character in the fighting game Rivals of Aether. He appears as an Assist character in Fraymakers.
Character description[]
Kragg is a creature of the earth element and one of Wall Runners who patrol the Rock Wall, which borders the Aetherian Forest. His physical design is based mainly on that of a rhinoceros beetle. He is a deliberate and loyal defender of both the Rock Wall and the surrounding forest, and like other Wall Runners, he has the ability to curl up into a ball and travel at high speeds. However, he also has the unique ability to control the earth beneath him, which allows him to summon it at will to defend himself or repair the Rock Wall.
As a fighter in Rivals of Aether, Kragg is a slow but powerful character who uses earth-based abilities to wall out opponents, such as his Rock Hurl and Earth Pillar creating large destructible obstacles that also act as parts of the stage. He can also use Defense Ball to roll toward opponents with high speed and knockback resistance.

Kragg is one of the Assist characters in Fraymakers, and he is one of the twenty Assists available at the launch of its Early Access release. He was chosen for the game following the Fraymakers poll for an Assist hailing from Rivals of Aether, which was held from December 18, 2021 to December 31, 2021. On April 1, 2022 during Rivals Direct 4, Kragg was revealed to be the winner with 1,612 votes, followed by Clairen with 1,126 votes, Ranno with 947 votes, and Zetterburn with 818 votes.
When called upon, Kragg uses Earth Pillar to create a large destructible pillar up to the player's position, which acts as a platform, wall, and attack when rising. Opponents in the way as it rises are dealt 7 damage and upward knockback. Standing atop the pillar causes it to slowly sink, and it disappears after being attacked or after about five seconds pass. It can be used for a variety of purposes, with one of its main uses being for recovery, as using it off-stage provides a platform for the player to land on and refresh their midair jumps and special moves with. This can also be used for edgeguarding by allowing the player to use grounded attacks off-stage or alternatively use the pillar as a wall to block opponents from returning to the stage. When used on-stage, it can also be used to extend combos, as using the Assist above an opponent can launch them up to the player's height and allow for a follow-up attack.
It takes 85 damage to fully charge Kragg.

Creates a rock pillar that grows from the ground below to your character's feet. This platform can be used for recovery, but it also carries foes upward - try it in a vertical combo!
