Knuckles is a playable newcomer starter character in Super Smash Flash from the large Sonic roster in the game. His moveset, as well as his sprite set, comes directly from Sonic Battle.
Knuckles is ranked 22nd on the current tier list, placing him in the C tier.
Attributes[]
Knuckles has the ability to KO foes at 0% with his down attack if it gets spaced properly and has decent stats.
However, he only has two instant-KO attacks. Furthermore, one of them hugely extends his hurtbox, making it extremely unsafe. Due to these reasons, Knuckles cannot rely on his instant-KO moves for finishing off opponents, forcing him to play by attempting to hit the opponent multiple times. Even then, this is considerably hard for Knuckles to do, as almost all of his moves have an extremely low range. The only move with a decent range is Rock Free Fall, but it has an elevated amount of startup, making its use relatively niche.
Because of these problems, Knuckles struggles against some of the characters, putting him pretty low on the tier list.
