This article is about the seventeenth Yeah Jam Fury level. For the twentieth Yeah Jam Fury: U, Me, Everybody! level, see Just Grab It (Yeah Jam Fury: U, Me, Everybody!).

Just Grab It is the seventeenth level of Yeah Jam Fury. To access it, the player must clear every level from Find Your Footing to Windowsill.

Overview[]

This level takes place on a short series of platforms made up of Steel Blocks, including a large open square with a Yellow Block inside and a platform with a short wall at the end. The player begins the level directly next to the mango, but they cannot immediately pick it up, as it moves one space away from the player whenever they are near. It continues like this from its starting point onward, and it cannot be stopped by a wall of blocks by itself, as it will simply move over or under them if there are no other blocks in the way. The only way to stop it is to trap it on three sides, with blocks preventing it from moving up, down, and left or right. On this level, this can be executed by using Yeah to place a Yellow Block to the right or left between the square platform and the single Steel Block above it, or by placing it above the mango on the wall on the last platform.

Trivia[]

  • This level was remade to be the twentieth level of the game's follow-up, Yeah Jam Fury: U, Me, Everybody!. The remade level is almost identical in both name and design to the original.
  • This is the only level in the game where the mango can change its position.
  • Beating this level will unlock the "You Son of a Gun..." trochieval.
  • According to Gregory McLeod, the game's programmer, Just Grab It is his favorite level from the game.
