Honey Combs is the forty-second level of Yeah Jam Fury: U, Me, Everybody!. To access it, the player must clear thirty levels.
Overview[]
A-Side[]
This level consists of six square sets of Steel Blocks with openings at their bottoms arranged in two rows of three, which are separated by a large height. The middle square in the upper row is the biggest, being five blocks high and tall, while the rest are three blocks high and tall. Each of the squares in the lower row have a Yellow Block in the center, while the largest square in the upper row has eight Yellow Blocks. At the top of the level, there is a group of Steel Blocks, Yellow Blocks, and Ice Blocks in the vague shape of a bee with a trail behind it. The player starts on a platform of Steel Blocks in the lower left corner of the level, and the mango is at the center of the largest square of Steel Blocks.
To obtain the mango, the player first must use use Fury to break the Yellow Block in the square directly above them. They then must use Yeah to place the Yellow Block below another square and then stand on it to break its Yellow Block, doing the same for the third Yellow Block. They then must ascend to the tops of these squares and use Fury to break any Yellow Blocks previously placed by falling through them and refooting at the tops. With three Yellow Blocks in their quota, the player must place them with Yeah to stand directly below the largest square, where they can then break its Yellow Blocks with Fury to reach the mango.
B-Side[]
The B-Side version of this level shares a very similar layout, except not only is it flipped horizontally, but the mango is now locked and can only be obtained with 17 Yellow Blocks in the player's quota, which includes every Yellow Block in the level. The largest square of Steel Blocks is now the same size as the rest, and all six now contain a Yellow Block. Two of the Steel Blocks on the "bee" are also replaced with Ice Blocks. Additionally, the mango is now located on the leftmost set of Ice Blocks at the top of the level. There also is now a time limit of 2 minutes and 30 seconds, and the level will restart if it is not completed in the time allotted.
To obtain the mango, the player now must repeat the process of placing a Yellow Block under a square with Yeah to break its Yellow Block with Fury for all six squares. Upon doing so, they then must ascend to the "bee", where they must break each of its Yellow Blocks and reach the Steel Blocks on it. Upon landing, they must use the Block Bridge to break each previously placed Yellow Block with Fury and then fall off the right side of the level to refoot at the checkpoint. With seventeen Yellow Blocks in their quota, the player must traverse across the Ice Blocks to the left to reach the mango.
