Hit the Brakes! is the forty-ninth level of Yeah Jam Fury: U, Me, Everybody!. To access it, the player must clear thirty levels.

A-Side[]
This level consists of a platforms of Steel Blocks, and the player starts on one to the left. The mango is on top of a small wall of Steel Blocks high above this platform, and to the far right is a single Steel Block with a single Yellow Block beneath it. There is also a Yeah-Only Flag to the right of the platform the player starts on, as well as an All Flag to the right of the far right blocks. The player must use Jam to boost to the right through the Yeah-Only Flag and then use Yeah to land on the far right Steel Block. They then must pass through the All Flag and use Fury to destroy the Yellow Block. Afterwards, they then must place the Yellow Block with Yeah in order to boost to it with Jam and gain enough height to obtain the mango.
B-Side[]
The B-Side version of this level shares a nearly identical design, except not only is it now flipped horizontally, but the two middle Steel Blocks on the starting platform have been replaced with Ice Blocks and the far Steel Block has been replaced with a Yellow Block. Additionally, the Yeah-Only Flag has been replaced with a Fury-Only Flag, the All Flag has been replaced with a Jam-Only Flag, the starting flag has been replaced with a Yeah-Only Flag, and there is a Jam-Only Flag on the other side of the platform. The player also can no longer refoot, and instead the level will restart if they fall.
In order to complete this level, the player must first use Jam to boost to the far left Yellow Blocks and then use Fury to break only the top one and then use the Jam-Only Flag to land on the bottom one with Jam. If the player destroys both Yellow Blocks, they will have nothing to land on and be forced to restart. Like before, they then must travel back to the starting platform with Jam and use Yeah to place the Yellow Block in order to boost to it with Jam and gain enough height to obtain the mango.
