Guardian Orbitars (衛星ガーディアンズ) is Pit's down special move in Super Smash Flash 2.
Overview
When performed, Pit quickly spins around and holds his arms out, summoning the Guardian Orbitars, two floating red shield-shaped weapons, on either side of him. They then each create a large yellow and blue shield-shaped barrier covering the sides of him. They will disappear immediately after the special input is released, but they can also be held out for about ten seconds before disappearing. While out, the barriers can push away opponents that get close to them, causing them to flinch, as well as reflect projectiles that hit them.
Origin
Orbitars are one of the weapon classes Pit uses in Kid Icarus: Uprising. Weapons in this class float alongside him and can fire two shots at once and have high homing, though they're not as effective in melee combat. The Guardian Orbitars in particular specialize in defense, and can project shields with charged shots, which look identical to the barriers Pit summons in SSF2. These shots remain suspended in the air while Pit can focus on other attacks, and in Kid Icarus: Uprising's multiplayer mode, Together Mode, these charged shots can also block enemy fire.
