Gloop is the forty-third level of Yeah Jam Fury: U, Me, Everybody!. To access it, the player must clear thirty levels.
Overview[]
A-Side[]
This level consists of eight small boxed areas of Steel Blocks arranged in columns of four beside each other. Each has openings between each other on the tops and bottoms with walls of Steel Blocks connecting them, forming three boxed areas in the middle space between them, and the areas at the upper left, upper right, and lower left have openings to toward the opposite sides. There are also Yellow Blocks in each of the boxed areas, other than the topmost and bottommost areas. The player starts in the lower right area, and the mango is located in the upper middle area.
To obtain the mango, the player first must reach the topmost areas by ascending through the openings. The walls can be reached using either Yeah to jump or Jam to boost and then climb up, and Fury must be used to break the Yellow Blocks in the way. They then must descend through the openings on the left side, once again using Fury to break the Yellow Blocks in the way. Upon reaching the bottom, they must go through the opening to the right and into the space in the middle, where they must continue to ascend until reaching the mango.
B-Side[]
The B-Side version of this level shares a very similar layout, except not only is it flipped horizontally, but the level now features the "Light's Out" gimmick in which the player can see only a short distance ahead. Many of the Steel Blocks and all of the Yellow Blocks are replaced with Ice Blocks, and there is now a Fury-Only Flag to the left of the opening of the lower right area. Additionally, Yeah's quota now consists of Ice Blocks instead of Yellow Blocks, of which he now starts with one.
To obtain the mango, the player now must climb to the topmost areas with Jam and destroy the Ice Blocks in the way as Fury. To reach each opening, the player may use Fury to break an Ice Block on side of the opening and using Jam to boost toward the remaining Ice Block, guiding him between the walls. Alternatively, the player may reach each opening by using a precise jump from a wall as Jam or by switching to Yeah while boosting. They then must descend through the openings on the left side, once again using Fury to break the Ice Blocks in the way. Upon reaching the bottom, the player must use Yeah to place an Ice Block over the Fury-Only Flag to avoid passing it and then ascend the middle walls until reaching the mango.
