Tilt attacks

Yoshi's tilt attacks.

A tilt attack, also referred to as a strong attack, is a ground attack in Super Smash Flash 2 or Fraymakers that is performed by holding in a direction and then pressing the attack input. In Fraymakers, it can also be performed using a dedicated tilt attack input or the directions of a "secondary stick". There are three variants: a forward tilt, an up tilt, and a down tilt.

Tilt attacks generally have good range and deal low damage with weak knockback allowing players against opponents at low damages to keep them in place for follow-up attacks. Against opponents at higher damages, they may be used for spacing or launching opponents off the stage, and they can often serve as KO tools. Most tilt attacks also have little lag, though they often take longer to start and end than neutral attacks.
