Ki Blasts (気砲), previously referred to as Rapid Ki Blasts, is Goku's side special move in Super Smash Flash 2.
Overview[]
When performed, Goku thrusts his palm forward, firing a small, blue and golden-white blast of energy that travels a decent range before disappearing. When used on the ground, the blast travels straight forward and Goku quickly follows up with a second one after firing the first, with each blast dealing 2% damage and little knockback. When used in the air, the blast travels diagonally downward and Goku will only fire one at a time, or two if the special input is held. These blasts take less time to be fired, but each blast deals only 1% damage with similar knockback. Repeatedly pressing the special input will fire additional blasts with no extra time between them. While Goku is locked in place when using the move on the ground, his momentum is completely unhindered when used in the air, allowing him to move forward towards opponents while assaulting them with blasts.

Even though, in their simplest form, Ki Blasts rarely appear in the Dragon Ball franchise proper, they have long been a staple of the video game adaptations as a basic attack, equivalent to a projectile punch. They can typically either be fired rapidly or charged, with some exceptions in the case of the latter, such as in the Dragon Ball Xenoverse games.
Unlike specialized super attacks such as the Kamehameha, they are nearly universal to the roster in games where they are present, usually with only one or a small handful of exceptions. As such, they are generally considered a core aspect of the series' gameplay.
