Jailbreak was the fourth of the five unused levels of Yeah Jam Fury. Despite being fully coded and playable in the game, it can only be accessed through hacks.

Overview[]

This level takes place inside a large box of Steel Blocks in which there are three open columns separated by walls of Steel Blocks, as well as Yellow Blocks allowing the player to break through with Fury into the other columns. There are multiple sets of the three columns separated by floors of blocks, in which the floor of two columns consists of Steel Blocks and the remaining one consists of Yellow Blocks. The player starts on a platform of Yellow Blocks near the top of the middle column in the highest set, and they must use Fury to reach the bottom of the box of Steel Blocks by falling through the correct columns of each set where there are Yellow Blocks instead of Steel Blocks to break through. The first correct column is the right column, followed by the left, then the right, then the middle, and finally the left.

The player will then land on a platform of Steel Blocks, with the mango underneath on the left. There are no blocks underneath this platform, so to reach the mango, the player must destroy the Yellow Blocks on the right with Fury and then use Yeah to place the Yellow Blocks accumulated in their quota to form a path.

Trivia[]

  • Like all unused levels in the game, the reason it has been scrapped is unknown, but it is possible that this level was intended to be used in the Steam and Wii U release of the game before it was cancelled in favor of the follow-up, Yeah Jam Fury: U, Me, Everybody!.
