Down throw

A down throw is a throw in Super Smash Flash 2 or Fraymakers that is performed by pressing down while grabbing an opponent.

Most down throws launch the opponent into the ground and have low vertical knockback. This makes them excellent combo starters for many characters, with some also being able to chain grab effectively. Several down throws are also capable of forcing opponents into a downed state on the floor unless they tech at the correct time.
