Events

The Events select screen with all the events completed with an S-rank.

Events, also called Event mode or Event match, is a Solo game mode in Super Smash Flash 2 where the player participates in various, specifically designed matches, usually containing unusual goals and/or other gimmicks not seen elsewhere in the game in order to complete them successfully.

How each event starts also varies as at times, the player will be forced to use a certain character and will be dragged immediately into the event as soon as it is selected from the menu. Other times, however, the player will be able to select their character before proceeding onwards into the event. All opponents within the events are controlled by CPU.

After completing an event, the player will receive a ranking (from best to worst: S, A, B, C, D, E, F) that evaluates their performance of the event, which may be by completing the event in a shorter amount of time, for receiving less damage, by KOing a specific number of opponents, etc.

List of events

There are a total of 57 events in the game. Completing a set of events will unlock an All-Star event, which after completing it, will unlock the next set of events with increasing difficulty.

Trivia

• After being introduced in demo v0.9a, by clearing all the ten events that originally were included the game, Jigglypuff would challenge the player where beating it would unlock it.
• There was originally a Nintendo All-Stars event as event #10, where the player could choose their character and had 3 stocks, and had to fight against Link, Pikachu, and Mario, with 2 stocks each, in a team battle on Final Destination. This event was replaced with the six All-Star Events.
