Chibi-Robo's forward smash electrocuting Donkey Kong.
The electric effect is an effect in Super Smash Flash 2 that is dealt by certain moves. Whenever a character is under the electrical effect, it will be tinted blue, sparks will come out of the character and for certain characters, their skeleton will be shown.

- Captain Falcon — Knee Smash.
- Chibi-Robo — Chibi-Blaster, up smash, down smash, forward smash, dash attack, side tilt and down aerial.
- Fox — Reflector.
- Goku — down aerial (Ki part).
- Kirby can copy Charge Shot, Chibi-Blaster, Energy Ball Blaster, Mega Buster, Paralyzer, PK Flash and Thunder Jolt.
- Mega Man — up smash, Mega Buster (fully charged) and forward throw
- Mr. Game & Watch — Judge (number 5).
- Ness — PK Flash, PK Thunder, forward aerial, dash attack, back aerial (sweet spotted), back throw and up throw.
- Pikachu — Thunder Jolt, Skull Bash, Quick Attack, Thunder, Volt Tackle, forward smash, down smash, forward aerial, down aerial, pummel and forward throw.
- Samus — Charge Shot and Screw Attack.
- Tails — Energy Ball Blaster
- Zelda — standard attack, forward aerial and back aerial.
- Zero Suit Samus — Plasma Whip (first hit), Plasma Wire, Paralyzer and forward throw.

- Certain characters will show their skeleton when hit by electric attacks just like Super Smash Bros..
- Some moves in SSF2 seemingly use electricity but they don't deal electric damage. An example of those moves is Sora's Thundaga.
