Chibi-Robo's forward smash electrocuting Donkey Kong.

The electric effect is an effect in Super Smash Flash 2 that is dealt by certain moves. Whenever a character is under the electrical effect, it will be tinted blue, sparks will come out of the character and for certain characters, their skeleton will be shown.

• Black Mage — forward smash.
• Captain Falcon — Knee Smash.
• Chibi-Robo — Chibi-Blaster, up smash, down smash, forward smash, dash attack, side tilt and down aerial.
• Fox — Reflector.
• Goku — down aerial (Ki part).
• Kirby can copy Charge Shot, Chibi-Blaster, Energy Ball Blaster, Mega Buster, Paralyzer, PK Flash and Thunder Jolt.
• Mega Man — up smash, Mega Buster (fully charged) and forward throw
• Mr. Game & Watch — Judge (number 5).
• Ness — PK Flash, PK Thunder, forward aerial, dash attack, back aerial (sweet spotted), back throw and up throw.
• Pikachu — Thunder Jolt, Skull Bash, Quick Attack, Thunder, Volt Tackle, forward smash, down smash, forward aerial, down aerial, pummel and forward throw.
• Samus — Charge Shot and Screw Attack.
• Tails — Energy Ball Blaster
• Zelda — standard attack, forward aerial and back aerial.
• Zero Suit Samus — Plasma Whip (first hit), Plasma Wire, Paralyzer and forward throw.

• Certain characters will show their skeleton when hit by electric attacks just like Super Smash Bros..
• Some moves in SSF2 seemingly use electricity but they don't deal electric damage. An example of those moves is Sora's Thundaga.
