This article is about the general term. For the credits level in Yeah Jam Fury: U, Me, Everybody!, see Credits (Yeah Jam Fury: U, Me, Everybody!).

Credits are a list of the staff of a particular film or video game. They generally appear at the start or end of the work to list either the most important cast and crew or the entirety of them. Credits can also include additional notes, such as distribution companies, works of music, or legal disclaimers.

Nearly every McLeodGaming game or animation has some form of credits. The full credits are generally shown either at the end of the work or from the title screen, and certain works also have brief opening credits at the start.

SSF Credits

The full credits in Super Smash Flash can be accessed from the title screen, and they also appear after the congratulations screen from clearing Classic, Adventure, or All-Star. They appear against a purple background and scroll up from the bottom while the music track Final Destination plays. They list Cleod9 as the creator and programmer, the sources for all sprites and audio used, and the companies that own the franchises represented. Holding the left click inputs speeds up the scrolling, and holding the space bar pauses it.

In Super Smash Flash 2[]

SSF2 Credits

The credits in Super Smash Flash 2 can be accessed from the title screen. They appear in a large black box with the "2" featured in the game's logo appearing in the background. Unlike in the original Super Smash Flash, these credits do not scroll automatically and instead have a scrollbar to the left. These credits list the entirety of both present and former SSF2 Team members, with most former members being listed in a section labeled "Our Old Friends". The credits also list most participants in the Content Creators Program and a "Special Thanks" section for people indirectly involved with the game.

The Credits level in Yeah Jam Fury: U, Me, Everybody!.

The credits in Yeah Jam Fury: U, Me, Everybody! take the form of an optional level appropriately named Credits. The level is played upon completing the one hundredth level of the game, Happy Birthday, and it can also be played by tickling the face on the title screen. The level is unique in that it takes place on a set of blocks that automatically progresses at all times, with new blocks being created and removed to the beat of the song that plays during the level, Best Day of My Life!. The staff gradually appears over the foreground of the level during its duration, and they also credit the publishing companies, the licensed music and assets used, and the development tools used to create the game.

In Fraymakers[]

They list the members of Team Fray and their collaborators, including the companies who own the franchises represented. The game is also planned to include a "credits game" featuring the names of Kickstarter backers, with certain pledges having higher tiers, as well as cameos of custom characters from certain backers.
