When Kirby uses the attack, he pulls out a pot and cooks nearby opponents in it. Up to 3 random items pop out of the pot when the move ends. When Kirby activates this Final Smash, it will trap all nearby, vulnerable enemies, deal up to 114% damage, and send all enemies flying. It is one of the most damaging single attacks in the game, but does not reliably KO until the enemy, before the Final Smash's activation, is around 185%. The move has the same range as the platform on Final Destination.
Cook originated as a Copy Ability that Kirby can obtain in Kirby Super Star and Kirby & The Amazing Mirror, usually obtained by inhaling Chef Kawasaki or Cookin. Much like in SSF2, it was able to suck in all enemies that appear on-screen, though this would turn them into healing food items, which instantly defeats them. This Final Smash also reflects Kirby's love for food, as he usually eats up enemies and gobbles food along his journeys, and has even been traveling to a mountain filled with gourmet goods in Kirby Super Star's mini-game, Gourmet Race.
