Effect Chibi-Robo takes out a small copter he quickly propels himself upward with.

Chibi-Copter is Chibi-Robo's up special move in Super Smash Flash 2.

When performed, Chibi-Robo crouches down and opens his head as a small copter pops comes out from it. It then twirls very fast, propelling Chibi-Robo upwards a very high distance for about one second before he puts it back into him. Opponents who make contact with the copter as it twirls can be hit up to eight times, dealing 1% damage with weak knockback for each of the first seven hits and 4% damage with slightly stronger knockback for the final hit.

The move provides decent horizontal and fantastic vertical recovery, due to the long distance upwards it covers in such a short time. However, it also leaves Chibi-Robo helpless after the move is complete.

Chibi-Copter Origin

Chibi-Robo using the Chibi-Copter in Chibi-Robo!

The Chibi-Copter is a tool in the Chibi-Robo! series originating in its debut game, where it is available for Chibi-Robo to use from the very beginning of the game. The copter is mounted on top (and inside) of his head, and when out, it will begin twirling automatically once Chibi-Robo falls off of a ledge, slowing his descent and preventing him from hurting himself from a long drop. It is also useful if Chibi-Robo needs to reach a far ledge as well, as he can use it to hover short distances when used on the ground. However, contrary to its use in SSF2, the copter does not allow Chibi-Robo to fly upwards in any way.
