Mr. Game & Watch using Chef.
|Universe||Game & Watch|
|Effect||Mr. Game & Watch pulls out a frying pan and tosses food that flies through the air.|
When Mr. Game & Watch uses Chef, he takes out a frying pan and tosses food in an arc forwards, attacking opponents who hit the food or the pan.
In Super Smash Flash
In the original Super Smash Flash, Chef is Mr. Game & Watch's down attack. He can only toss sausage from his pan when performed, much like in Super Smash Bros. Melee. Unlike in Melee, he can only toss one sausage at a time, and it always flies in the same trajectory of two diagonal lines that resemble an arc. The sausage also travels through platforms and has a much faster speed than its official incarnations.
In Super Smash Flash 2
In the reboot, Super Smash Flash 2, Chef has turned into Mr. Game & Watch's neutral special move. He can now launch multiple pieces of food at once and at one of several predetermined arcs and speeds. The food he launches now stops much earlier than in its predecessor, and it can no longer travel through platforms. Just like he can from Super Smash Bros. Brawl onwards, he can also launch fish and steak along with sausage, though the differences between them are purely aesthetic. The pan now only has a hitbox when tossing food with it, which is a semi-spike that deals flame damage.
Chef is a Game & Watch game where the player takes on the role of a chef cooking various foods including fish, steak and sausage by flipping them into the air with his frying pan. The player has to keep all the food airborne and avoid letting any touch the ground, as it will be promptly eaten by an awaiting mouse or be speared on a fork by a perched cat. A "Miss" will be given for each food to touch the ground, and the game will end if three misses are obtained.
