Capcom Co., Ltd. (株式会社カプコン), or Capcom, is a Japanese developer and publisher of video games, known for creating multi-million-selling franchises such as Mega Man, Street Fighter, Resident Evil, Devil May Cry, Ace Attorney, and MONSTER HUNTER. Originally established in 1979, it has since become an international enterprise with branches and subsidiaries in North America, Europe and East Asia.

Influence in the McLeodGaming media[]

The Mega Man series is the most prominent Capcom franchise to appear in any of the McLeodGaming media, having appeared in both games of the Super Smash Flash series. Mega Man X, the titular character of the Mega Man X spin-off series, appears as a playable starter character in the original Super Smash Flash alongside his partner Zero as an unlockable character. Additionally, the main series' titular character Mega Man appears as a fighter in Super Smash Flash 2, with Skull Fortress and Central Highway appearing as stages.

In addition to Mega Man, the Street Fighter series is also present in the Super Smash Flash series, with its main protagonist Ryu appearing as an unlockable character in Super Smash Flash 2 alongside Suzaku Castle as a stage.
