Broken Steps is the forty-sixth level of Yeah Jam Fury: U, Me, Everybody!. To access it, the player must clear thirty levels.
Overview[]
A-Side[]
This level consists of three large platforms of Steel Blocks, with the highest one being the longest and the lowest one being the shortest. A wall of Steel Blocks and Ice Blocks spans the left side of the level below the highest platform, and there is a wall of Steel Blocks to the right of the lower too platforms and on the lower left side of the lowest platform. The player starts on the highest platform with one Yellow Block in their quota, and the mango is located below the lowest platform. To obtain it, the player must use Yeah to place the Yellow Block to reach the platform below and Fury to then break it while refooting on that platform, doing the same for the lowest platform. They then must place the Yellow Block below the lowest platform and use Jam to boost to the mango.
B-Side[]
The B-Side version of this level shares a very similar layout, except not only is it flipped horizontally, but there is now a Fury-Only Flag between the middle platform and the rightmost wall, as well as a Fury-Only Flag on top of the leftmost wall. Additionally, the player now starts on an Ice Block where the mango previously was with five blocks in their quota, and the mango is now located where the player previously started. Additionally, Yeah's quota now consists of Ice Blocks instead of Yellow Blocks. There also is now a time limit of 45 seconds, and the level will restart if it is not completed in the time allotted. The player also can no longer refoot, and instead the level will restart if they fall.
To obtain the mango, the player first must use Yeah to place two Ice Blocks to reach the opening to the left and then use Jam to climb up to the lowest platform. They then must place an Ice Block above the Fury-Only Flag to the right to avoid passing it and use Jam to boost up to the middle platform. They then must place one Ice Block above the Fury-Only Flag to the left and another further left to then boost off of it with Jam to climb the highest platform and reach the mango.
