This article is about Battlefield as it appears in Super Smash Flash 2. For the Super Smash Flash incarnation, see Battlefield (Super Smash Flash).

Battlefield (戦場), formerly titled The Battlefield and commonly abbreviated as BF, is a starter stage in Super Smash Flash 2. It was the third stage to be added in the game (after the two test stages), but went through many changes in appearances and updates.

Layout[]

The stage has a basic structure, with one main platform and three soft platforms in a pyramid formation above it. The background depicts a forest setting with a large, weathered statue in the center of the main platform.

Music[]

  • The main music track is the self-titled Battlefield, an orchestral remix of the main theme of Super Smash Flash 2.
  • One of the alternate music tracks is Multi-Man Smash, a fast-paced upbeat remix of the main theme that also plays in most of Multi-Man Smash.
  • The other alternate music track is Cruel Smash, a synthesized dramatic remix of the main theme that also plays in the Multi-Man Smash sub-mode, Cruel Smash.

Tournament legality[]

Battlefield is considered to be a neutral stage. The layout of the stage is fairly balanced, giving only a slight advantage to characters at most. The stage is also very straightforward, having no hazards or other undesirable stage elements that could otherwise take away from the game's competitive depth.
