''Super Smash Flash 2'' will include two different Adventure Modes. One is the [[Adventure Mode: The Flash Of Shadows]] which will be available only for the EXE version (downloadable version) of the game due to the big file size this mode occupies. The other being a regular Adventure Mode without a storyline and only having levels, similar to ''SSF''<nowiki>'</nowiki>s one. According to the [[DOJO!!]] update, each level or world is represented as a mini-planet themed with an associated SSF2-in game [[universe]], such as a [[Mushroom Kingdom|Mushroom Kingdom mini-planet]] (right image) from the [[Mario (universe)|''Mario'' series]]. The concept of mini-planets is actually based, or taken, from the [[Kingdom Hearts (universe)|''Kingdom Hearts'' games]] where the worlds are represented as such.

For the SSF2 Story Mode, see Adventure mode: The Flash of Shadows.

Adventure mode is a 1-player mode along with the Classic mode and All-Star mode in Super Smash Flash and Super Smash Flash 2. In SSF, this mode is very similar to the Classic mode, it has many of the stages. In fact, it has the same stages. In SSF2 there are two different Adventure Modes, one will follow the traditional Adventure Mode with levels only while the other will have a serious storyline.
